Lisette is a Cuban American woman, who was born in the 70s.  She grew up in an area of Miami called “Horse Country”.  Her family successfully bred and showed Paso Finos for many years.  When Lisette was 8 years old, she decided to try a different riding discipline by taking her first Hunt Seat lesson at Hunting Horn Farms in Horse Country and later furthered her training at Southwind Farm nearby.  It was then that she discovered her love for jumping!  She eventually traded her beautiful black Paso Fino stallion, for her beloved Arabian/Quarter Horse cross named “Beauty,” which she trained to jump herself.  Her and Beauty showed quite a bit as a child and adolescent.  Some years later, Lisette was approached by family friends to see if she was interested in teaching their 2 daughters to ride.  Lisette’s career as a Horseback Riding Instructor blossomed from there using her very own Beauty and teaching from her childhood home!  Lisette was a member of the University of Miami Equestrian Team and participated in Intercollegiate Shows during her college career.  She graduated with her B.B.A. in Business Management in 2001.  She has since taught and run a successful lesson program at local barns, such as, Davie Ranch.  The City of Hollywood is the place she calls “home” where she raised four children with her husband, Alessandro.  She has taught Alessandro and all of their children to ride.  One of their children has Autism and another suffers from Major Depression.  Lisette always mentions that, “when met with challenges, I’ve always found a moment of clarity and peace around horses and I am committed to share this experience with the rest of the community.”
